Learn how to write basic formulas in Pigment. Identify the difference in formula syntax between spreadsheet and dimensional environment.  Describe how to reference Metrics, List properties and items in Pigment formulas. Recognize the role of functions in calculating Metrics.

This course is designed for everyone, both business and technical users. 

  • Technical users need to know how to reference Metrics, List properties and items in Pigment formulas to create calculated Metrics. They should also be familiar with the Formula Playground tool to test their formulas. Ability to override results and see the dependency diagram may be especially helpful when it comes to Pigment calculations.
  • Business users will benefit from learning how to interpret Pigment formulas by identifying their syntax.
